Mergen is a native macOS app (plus Go CLI) that audits and checks the security configuration of a Mac, generating reports on common hardening settings. Version 2 (macOS 13+) was produced after the author, Samet Sazak, revived the 2023 project using Claude with a vibe-coding approach, which the README discloses along with a warning that AI-assisted code can have bugs.
